we bought our rings!!!
The original of this 15th century poesy ring can be found at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England. The inscription, “Myn Genyst,” which translates as, “my heart” in old German with a motif of birds and leaves, decorates the outside of the band.
we ordered them through an eBay seller who had the lowest price (they’re available from a handful of online sellers). so far, i’m pleased with the service from the eBay merchant. we should have them soon; the information from the “auction” (it was a “buy it now”) says usually 10 – 18 days. i’ve corresponded personally with the seller and i have a feeling she’ll try to rush the order for me even though i didn’t request rushed shipping. i can’t wait to see them in person!
